Julie Livermore Photography | Southern Wyoming

Hi, I am Julie. I am an on-location, natural light photograhper serving Southern Wyoming. Pick your favorite location indoors or out-- and we will venture out and leave the flash behind! I love capturing all stages of life, from newborns to high school seniors, as well as families. I like to combine traditional posed portraits with geniune moments of your kids playing or famlies interacting, so be prepared to have fun and be yourself! Read more to see what is new...or click on the "Portfolio" tab to see my work. Be sure to check out my Facebook fan page as well! I spend time in Tucson, AZ and San Diego, CA visiting my family, so please let me know if you would like my travel schedule.

The theme for week 4 of the 52 week project I am participating in is “hands”. I had a hard time narrowing down my recent hand photos, but in the end, a photo of my new nephew in his daddy’s hands was my pick!

Still playing catch up from last year! This session was a lot of fun! Right after we finished the photos, we took a long hike to the top of the Rawlins’ Uplift. From the top we could see all the pretty Christmas lights around town. Of course, I left my camera in the car for the scenic part of our hike:)

Here is my last Rawlins High School 2012 senior session. Looking forward to photographing 2013 seniors as soon as the weather warms up! Drew was very sweet and a good sport about getting his photos done–not to mention looking very dapper. His girlfriend helped pick out his outfits–and I think they turned out awesome. We even got a few in his football jersey and letterman jacket. I am sure he was freezing, but you sure can’t tell looking at these!

For the 52 week project I am participating in, the theme for week three is Imagine. Although I have countless images of my boys using their imaginations to play around the house, I had to share this image from our trip to San Diego. Something about the vastness of the ocean, really makes one imagine all the possibility out in the world!

Make sure to check out all the other Imagine images by clicking HERE.

I am a little behind on posting images from my holiday trip to California and Arizona! Here are a few of one of my favorite little guys, just to get started! He was so adorable taking his dog on a walk.

I was a little nervous when we set out to take Brendan’s senior portraits–it was another freezing winter day in Rawlins! Thankfully Brendan is a lot tougher than me (no coat, that is crazy) and was extremely easy to photograph. I also enjoyed coming up with some new locations in Rawlins, WY that worked well for a senior boy…and one of the buildings we used was where his mom had attended high school! Here are just a few images from this class of 2012 senior’s session.

Some of my favorite sessions are with repeat clients! I photographed this adorable family last December, when Morgan was just a year old. She has grown so much the last year…and in a few short weeks will be a big sister. I followed Morgan (and her mom and dad) around The University of Arizona and we captured some great shots of them playing around, no posing required! Thanks guys for booking me when I come to Tucson, Arizona–I can’t wait to meet your new addition!

If anyone else in Tucson, AZ is interested in booking a session, my next trip will be April 7-14th! Please contact me as soon as possible, as I have already booked two sessions for that week.

This was taken on a very cold, windy day here in Rawlins, Wyoming! Apparently while I was enjoying balmy 70 degree weather in Tucson, Arizona and Southern California, my Wyoming friends were enjoying weather in the 40s…a lot warmer than the day these photos were taken. I really enjoyed working with this beautiful family–they were very relaxed and dressed perfectly for holiday portraits–despite the cold weather!

I can’t believe it is already the second week of the New Year! We just got back from Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, and so today feels like my New Year. I am busy archiving, editing, and ordering prints from 2011 and looking forward to capturing new and old clients in 2012. For the 52 week project I am participating in, the theme is Belly Laughs! Here is a capture from one of my Tucson sessions–mom tickled Emily and got a big laugh! Can’t wait to share the rest of this session!

Please check out some more belly laughs by clicking HERE!

Every year, I like to reflect a little on the past and then set some goals for the future! Last year was my first year in business as a photographer. Owning my own business has been more overwhelming (and rewarding) than I ever thought possible. This year was definitely filled with some highs and lows, and I learned many new things about photography, business, and myself. I am joining a 52 week project this year, to continue to challenge myself and grow. This week’s theme is mirrors. I thought this image from our car trip from Wyoming to San Diego perfectly reflects the journey I embarked on last year. I am excited to see where the road takes me this one.

This is a blog hop, please check out the other wonderful images!
