I recently made a trip to Cheyenne to photograph this cute family at the Cheyenne Botantical Gardens. The mom is an amazing photographer, so I was honored…and a little nervous to take their photos. As soon as we met, I totally put my fears aside, they were so fun and easygoing. The botantical gardens were beautiful as was the soft golden light. And isn’t their daughter one of the cutest (and I am suspecting one of the smartest) two year olds you have ever seen?

Here is another recent Rawlins High School Senior of 2012! Vanessa was extremely easy to photograph, we only had to stop because the sun went down…and the high school football game was starting. Vanessa is a sharp girl, with a sweet, kind personality–which will be a great fit for her plans to have a career in the medical field!

Here we are at week 35 of the 52 week challenge that I am sharing with talented photographers from around the world! This week’s theme is glitter, sparkle, or shine. When I think of sparkle, I think of rhinestones and “bling”, which my closet is lacking (I blame it on being a mom of only boys). So I grabbed a quick snap of a friend’s pretty “bling” she wore for a special night out!

Check out more bling from Houston, Texas photographer Linsey Stuckey!

I was so excited when this mom contacted me about family portraits! Her daughter played soccer in Rawlins with my son this summer, and I remembered what beautiful eyes she and her brother had. We got all ready to meet up for our shoot…and typical, the Wyoming wind started to gust and a chill hit the air. The family was already ready, so we decided to just go for it. You can’t even tell the wind is blowing and that the kids are laying in wet grass:) Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful family!

I took an accidental little break on my weekly project this summer, so for those who do not remember I am part of a group of amazing photographers who have decided to post images that represent a different theme each week. After you view my image, click on the link below and see what the others have to share! Past themes have been movement, favorite flower, and out of focus.

This week’s theme is connection: what connection in your life do you adore?

Next up from NJ, The Bugsmom Mommy with an adorable photo for Connection.

I was very excited to get the opportunity to photograph my son’s first grade teacher’s wedding this summer. James was thrilled to go to school everyday last year, because his teacher made school so fun. Her sweet spirit was evident in all her wedding details as well. Her husband loves the outdoors, so they got married in the mountains…and truly it was amazing that everything came together so perfectly in such a remote (and gorgeous) location.

The couple was very calm and happy on their big day! The gorgeous bride did her own hair and make-up at a cabin!!

Too make things more “them” the bridal party DANCED down the aisle…to the surprise and delight of all the guests!

So romantic!

The couple got married by one of the bride’s best friends–and under an arch made by the groom!

They had over 200 hundred guest in attendance…under an open tent near the ceremony…so we had to sneak off for a few minutes to get some special images!

The couples beautiful girls, along with other special family members and friends made up the gorgeous bridal party!
