I am still playing catch up on my blog! The beautiful colors of fall have long faded, and now my sessions are filled with snow and sweaters. I am drinking some hot tea and designing holiday cards for my clients. I am so surprised that I have sessions booked all through the month of December–I thought the snow and cold would scare everyone away!
For now, a gorgeous Rawlins High School student, enjoying one of the last days of autumn.

Diego, is a sweet, fun seven year old, who looked handsome in every single photo we took. We took these photos on a very windy evening–we actually had to change locations after a few frames to find somewhere a little more calm! But the beautiful fall colors were still hanging on, and I love what we captured. The cowboy hat in these images is a family heirloom shipped in from California just for our session. I think his grandma and mom will treasure these photos for a long time to come.

It goes without saying that I am thankful to have two such wonderful boys! We have had some fun in the last few weeks checking out some new locations–and braving the freezing temperatures! I am also thankful for all my clients who have booked outdoor on-location shoots for November and December! We definitely have some cold, windy weather here in southern Wyoming, but it is also very beautiful this time of year! I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Some gorgeous mother and daughter shots from another fall family session! Love the special bond between this mom and her daughters. Plus, they have the most amazing eyelashes I have ever seen. Saving a few favorite family pics for holiday cards, so this is all for now.

Today’s forecast– cloudy and windy. Temperatures steady in the mid 20s. Winds W at 20 to 25 mph…and it is completely white with fresh, snow out! It wasn’t very long ago, that we had some beautiful, warm fall evenings, as you can see by these photos. These clients are pretty special to me, they are the first non-family members I took pics up when I first thought about starting a photography business. I am so happy that they came back!

This precious baby boy was a dream to photograph, after his parents patiently rocked him to sleep! I just love every image of him, and can’t imagine anyone looking cuter in a hat. He is also a luckly little man to have two such sweet and kind parents, I can tell how much he is loved. I hope to see you again soon Baby Nash!

This family had a great location in mind for their family pics–some friends’ beautiful ranch! These were taken several weeks ago, right when the leaves were begining to change…and we experienced the first really chilly, windy evening of the year! We also pretty much lost the children’s interest once they started playing on the hay–but luckily we already had plenty of beautiful images to choose from!! Thanks for a fun night!

It was such a pleasure to photograph one of my friends and fellow Wyoming photographers. Originally, we had decided on taking her photos up in the mountains with all the amazing wildflowers–well, between weather and both of our busy client schedules, it took us several months to finally get together. I think it was worth the wait, I love the golden sun and leaves in these photos. However, our session was abruptly ended when a huge dumptruck of rocks arrived at their place–how can I compete for the attention of three little boys with a dumptruck! Luckily, Kate wasn’t interested in many formal, posed photos. She wanted to capture a little bit of her everyday life with three boys. It was a fun night!

I snapped these images after Batman and Joker had already trick-or-treated downtown. Judging by the number of wrappers in the backseat, they already had quite a sugar high. But, I knew I would regret it if I didn’t take a few non-cell phone photos.
Halloween was extra fun this year, my kids are finally old enough to trick-or-treat without geting cold/needing held/ripping off their costumes/or having to go up and stand at the door with them–and young enough to still get super excited about going trick-or-treating and dressing up!
