I met up with this cute couple on a beautiful Spring evening in Wyoming. The sunset was gorgeous, and we lucked out with little wind–for Rawlins, WY that is truly noteworthy! I love the soft, pastel tones of the scenery and the soft pink tones of the sky. And the absolutely stunning mama-to-be made these images picture perfect.

I loved this session so much!! First, I had the opportunity to meet another Tucson, AZ photographer (http://www.knissleyphotography.com/) and second, I got to visit one of my favorite spots in Tucson, that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise made time to see as our Spring Break went by way too fast! Thanks Nissley family for the fun afternoon, I hope to see you next time I am in Tucson, AZ!
Tucson, AZ clients, I will have limited June sessions at a special rate! Please contact me as soon as possible to schedule.

This post is a little delayed–we spent a week in Tucson, Arizona for Spring Break! Coming back from sunny, warm–and non-windy weather, certainly gives me more appreciation for my dear Wyoming clients who brave freezing temps and 30 plus mile per hour winds to get their life’s moments captured! And what more precious moment in life, than waiting for a new arrival. This mama has the tiniest, perfect little belly. Can’t wait to meet baby, who is due this week!

If you don’t like cute, smiley, squishy babies, please close your browser immediately!! I am so happy my sister and nephew Miles were able to join us in Tucson, AZ (at my other sister’s house) for Easter. The weekend went by way too fast, but luckily I had my camera on hand…I know he is going to be so much bigger next time I get to see him.

One thing I enjoy most about my job is working with repeat clients! It is so fun to get to know their families, and be there to capture special milestones in their lives. Maternity sessions are amazing! There is so much joy and excitement in anticipation of the new arrival. Thanks Darian and Drew for having me capture this special time in your lives.

My sister and I thought this photo session might not even happen! Our family planned a trip to San Diego, just to be there to meet my new nephew and take tons of newborn pics. Well, sweet, little Miles, was born 11 days late–and stayed 3 extra days in the hospital. It was awesome to meet him at the hospital the day he was born, but these pics were taken literally minutes before we hopped in the car to leave town…and it was getting dark! It was not nearly enough time, but I treasure these images.

This session was taken at the end of December, on a beautiful, sunny Tucson day! Katie, is my sister’s best friend, so I have known her a longtime, and it was nice to meet her beautiful family. They recently moved from NYC to Berkeley, so for us to all be in Tucson at the same time took some planning. This session was extra special, because the location we shot at was the same place where they got married several years ago! Little Emily had just taken her first steps, so it was wonderful to capture this milestone. I just fell in love with her sweet, joyful personality–can’t wait to see her again!

The theme for week 4 of the 52 week project I am participating in is “hands”. I had a hard time narrowing down my recent hand photos, but in the end, a photo of my new nephew in his daddy’s hands was my pick!

I am a little behind on posting images from my holiday trip to California and Arizona! Here are a few of one of my favorite little guys, just to get started! He was so adorable taking his dog on a walk.

I can’t believe it is already the second week of the New Year! We just got back from Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, and so today feels like my New Year. I am busy archiving, editing, and ordering prints from 2011 and looking forward to capturing new and old clients in 2012. For the 52 week project I am participating in, the theme is Belly Laughs! Here is a capture from one of my Tucson sessions–mom tickled Emily and got a big laugh! Can’t wait to share the rest of this session!
