Here is my last Rawlins High School 2012 senior session. Looking forward to photographing 2013 seniors as soon as the weather warms up! Drew was very sweet and a good sport about getting his photos done–not to mention looking very dapper. His girlfriend helped pick out his outfits–and I think they turned out awesome. We even got a few in his football jersey and letterman jacket. I am sure he was freezing, but you sure can’t tell looking at these!

I was a little nervous when we set out to take Brendan’s senior portraits–it was another freezing winter day in Rawlins! Thankfully Brendan is a lot tougher than me (no coat, that is crazy) and was extremely easy to photograph. I also enjoyed coming up with some new locations in Rawlins, WY that worked well for a senior boy…and one of the buildings we used was where his mom had attended high school! Here are just a few images from this class of 2012 senior’s session.

I am taking a moment today to reflect on 2011. It has truly been a wonderful year in many ways, and I would like to thank my family, friends, and clients (some people fit more than one category!) for your support this year. I truly appreciate everytime you take the time to comment or view my page. I still have a lot of growing to do, but all the beautiful compliments I receive really keep me going when I doubt myself. I want to share some of my favorite 2011 moments with you today.
There is something so special about capturing the first precious weeks of life. Truly, what a miracle!

I was especially excited to be able to meet my nephew Miles in California, and take his photos when he was just 5 days old.

I love photographing babies as their personalities really start shining through. And especially being able to photograph a sweet friend who is also a photographer.

I got a question this year, why are most of my client redheads? Well, that is not exactly true, but the ones I did capture were memorable–and pretty darn cute!

One of my favorite thing to capture as a photographer is the interaction between siblings. Having two boys of my own, I think it is interesting how different sibling relationships can be.

Another favorite relationship to cature is parents with their children, I love all the unposed playful, serious, and loving moments!

All the loving families and parents that were so patient with their children really touched my heart!

I also enjoyed getting to take individual portraits. I love being able to capture someone’s personality…and I try to avoid the dreaded cheesy smile.

As much as I enjoy working with children and families, some of my favorite sessions this year were with the Rawlins High School seniors! What a lovely group of kids, and I wish them all success as they enter 2012, their graduating year! Because I could not narrow them down…an image from my first senior session and from my last.

I had the honor to photograph several wedding this year! It is wonderful to be able to capture all the special moments and details of a couple’s day. 2011 marks the year of a dream coming true! My best friend, Michelle, and I have dreamed for years of having a business together…and when we started brainstorming ideas, wedding photographer was at the top of the list! It was so fun to capture this wedding together.

And a big thanks to my wonderful husband for supporting me in pursuing my dream of becoming a photographer–and went so far as second shooting the wedding below with me this summer! I couldn’t have done any of this without him! I love you!

Finally, thanks to my boys, who let me practice on them daily…and go quietly to play together when I am editing galleries and doing behind the scene work. I love you boys!

While this post is already MUCH longer than I intended (I was shooting for the top 11 of 2011), I still feel sad for all the images in my “favorites” folder that I am not posting! Hopefully my clients are enjoying them on their own walls instead! Thank you for revisiting 2011 with me! I hope to capture some of your special moments in 2012.
Happy New Year!

I am still playing catch up on my blog! The beautiful colors of fall have long faded, and now my sessions are filled with snow and sweaters. I am drinking some hot tea and designing holiday cards for my clients. I am so surprised that I have sessions booked all through the month of December–I thought the snow and cold would scare everyone away!
For now, a gorgeous Rawlins High School student, enjoying one of the last days of autumn.

I had so much fun photographing this RHS 2012 Senior! Not only is she beautiful, but she had a great, unique style and a kind, carefree personality. We started off at a few of my typical locations and ended up exploring a bit to find some beautiful fall leaves and funky colored walls. Thanks Shyan for calling me to do your senior pics, can’t wait to hear where life takes you next year!!

Here is another recent Rawlins High School Senior of 2012! Vanessa was extremely easy to photograph, we only had to stop because the sun went down…and the high school football game was starting. Vanessa is a sharp girl, with a sweet, kind personality–which will be a great fit for her plans to have a career in the medical field!

I love working with high school seniors! Emily had tons of ideas and a vibrant, sweet personality. We decided to do some grungy, urban photos in Rawlins, WY and some soft, dreamy forest photos a little way out of town. I love how these turned out…here are some of my favorites!
Class of 2012, there is still plenty of time to schedule outdoor Senior photos! Please contact me soon to book your session. If Emily sent you, she will get a free gift! Make sure and become a fan of Julie Livermore Photography on Facebook!!

This was one of my favorite sessions to date! Having two sisters myself, I was so excited to find out this client had both her sisters visiting her in Colorado… and they wanted to get family photos done. They brought a husband, mom, and their cousin a long–we met at a beautiful place filled with flowers–and had an absolute blast. You can get some fun reactions when you ask one of three sisters to quickly look at their favorite sister–or ask all three of them to climb up in a tree!:)) Thanks sisters and family for being so relaxed, genuine, and fun!

What a wonderful year! I have been very blessed this year and want to say a big thank you to all the people who have supported me and my photography business this year! It is impossible for me to pick my favorite photos from 2010, as I have worked with so many beautiful families, seniors, and children. So in lieu of favorites, here are a few highlights of my year!
A few new men in my life!

Spent a lot of time chasing cute kids!

Captured beautiful girls and grads.

Met fellow photogs who inspire me!

Spent time with loving families.

A visit from a friend who found it worth it to drive 18 hours to see me!!

Saw some adoring brothers (including my own two boys)!

Explored the beauty of Wyoming with my family this summer!

What a fun, exciting year 2010 was! Thanks again to my family, friends, and amazing, beautiful clients for your continued support! I can’t wait to see what 2011 has in store.

I had a great time working with Katie a few weeks ago for senior pics. The weather changes every hour in Wyoming, so we found an afternoon where the wind…well it wasn’t so bad. Katie brought her best friend, who made her laugh the whole session, and we all had a lot of fun. Check out the little sneak peek of the mini-album and collage we put together with her favorite images.
