This sweet little lady has grown so much since last time I photographed her. Just over a year, she is already walking and loves playing with her ball. Except for the day I took photos, of course! The only single thing that would make her smile was to shake the box of tic tacs I had with me. We resorted to shaking and tossing the tic tacs at last second, it was pretty entertaining. Absolutely love what we captured, no matter what it took.

This sweet trio drove all the way down from Wyoming for their session. I think they may have brought some Wyoming wind with them too, but the evening was warm and sunny. I just loved when I was taking little sister’s photos, her older sister leaned over to mom and exclaimed how adorable she looked! Now if that isn’t the sweetest big sister ever, I don’t know who is!

One of the best parts about my job, is all the wonderful people I get to meet! Trish and I had been talking for awhile about her driving down from Cheyenne, Wyoming to have family photos in her native Colorado. It just happened she and her son were able to make it down for my Spring Mini-Sessions. So great to meet them in person, and I am looking forward to Kyle’s senior photos this summer.

For the Love of Downtown Fort Collins and Denver

Each month I am joining six other wonderful photographers to share photos in a blog circle entitled “For The Love”. This is such a fun project to help me keep up with personal photos as the weather warms up (hopefully, it is snowing right now), and my weekends are filled with Spring photo sessions! Last month, I shared for the Love of the Mountains, so I decided this month to share some urban images. Having lived in Colorado for less than a year, our family is really enjoying exploring all the sights! I love all the colors, textures and lines in urban spots! The first few images are in downtown Fort Collins, as I was scouting locations for an upcoming photo session. Then onto a glimpse of our Easter Sunday spent in downtown Denver. Finally a quick family self-portrait as we waited for my birthday brunch in downtown Fort Collins!

Had a great day meeting nine day old Baby Victoria and her parents. This little lady did not want to sleep for her session, but we finally wore her out! She definitely slept best cuddled up in her parents’ arms, and those are some of my favorite images from the day!

Best Brothers Fort Collins Photographer

Right now there is about two feet of snow on the ground–the storm must have just been blowing in this evening, as our session was full of gusty wind and cloudy skies! Despite the crazy weather, we sure had fun throwing around the football, picking up sticks, and climbing fences. And big brother sure loved giving his baby brother, mom and dad big hugs and kisses!!
