To the Moon and Back

8/52
We are completely over cold weather and snow! Feeling a little stir-crazy, I’m ready to get out, explore, and try new things. Despite the chilly temps, we took a pretty drive and a short hike just outside of Fort Collins. Once home and all snuggled up watching cartoons, I attempted a technique called freelensing. Megan’s post a few weeks ago gave me the idea to try this! I took my lens off the camera, and played around to get a tilt-shift effect. It was more difficult than I expected, but fun to try! Check out the following tutorial.

And one more freelensing attempt! Do you see the narrow plan of focus surrounded by lots of blur?
