Boulder Family Photographer | First Family Photo Session with Baby
This outdoor family session in Boulder was a wonderful way to celebrate this family’s first photos since welcoming their baby girl. Spring is a beautiful time for family photography in Boulder, with soft light, blooming trees, and mild temperatures.
We chose a scenic spot near the Flatirons that offers a mix of mountain views and flowering trees—perfect for capturing both landscape and close-up portraits. Boulder has so many great photo locations, but in spring, I recommend areas like South Boulder, Chautauqua, or open spaces with early-blooming trees. Weekday evenings tend to be quieter and give us the best lighting.
This session was relaxed and simple, ideal for families with young kids. We kept things low-key and moved at a comfortable pace, which helps everyone feel more at ease and leads to more natural photos.
