It was such a joy to photograph this sweet family of three…before they become a family of four next month!! We lucked out meeting at this stunning location in Boulder, Colorado just as the clouds cleared and left us with a glowing sunset. When you already have a child, maternity sessions become less about showcasing your belly…and more about capturing your family dynamics before they change. It was very obvious how playful and loving these parents are with their little guy! His dad was amazing and took him to play for awhile so we could capture his beautiful mom, excited and anxious to meet her baby girl.
I absolutely love photographing maternity sessions! They are such an amazing reminder of such a fleeting time. These are the photos you will be showing your grandchildren someday! I also love meeting families prior to their newborn session, so we are all comfortable and excited for newborn portraits!
