Boulder Photographer | Matias is One

Third time is the charm for this first year session! We met at this scenic spot two weeks prior…and the field was covered with blowing snow! It really was a beautiful sight, but not the best conditions for a one year old (wind makes everything feel so much colder!). On our rescheduled date, the snow had melted, but the wind was still blowing, so we decided early in the day to try for another evening. The stars finally aligned and we had a beautiful sunset (a late one at that, it was the first day of Daylight Savings). I was worried the time change would make Matias a little cranky, but he smiled the entire hour. I think mostly due to the fact that so many people were outdoors walking their dogs on this beautiful day, and he love, love, loves “perros”! ¬†Amazing little bilingual baby! Sadly, they just lost their family dog recently, but she was there in spirit. I appreciate this dear family so much, they are a dream for this Boulder photographer.
