I had the pleasure of meeting up with this family for their maternity portraits last year. It was so fun to meet up again this year for their fall family portraits…and a few first birthday photos! We met just as the fall colors were fading into winter, but it was such a beautiful afternoon. This is a location I have overlooked in the past, but it’s been one of my favorites this season. I love the light streaming through the trees, the sturdy logs to sit on (or jump off!), and all the crunchy leaves to play in. It was hard to narrow it down, but here are a few of my favorite images. The second image of the girls hugging is a personal favorite. I always include a few special black and white images in my galleries. I absolutely adore emotive black and white image.
