There is something so beautiful about seeing an entire grove of aspens in the fall. The golden leaves of Colorado’s quintessential tree just shimmer and glow in the soft afternoon sunlight. The leaves change at different times each fall and don’t stick around long. I was so thankful that we used this location at the peak of autumn colors!
I have been so fortunate this fall to photograph so many of my gorgeous neighbors. We live in such a fun, friendly community, and taking photographs helps me get to know everyone even that much better! My youngest son is in the same class as this family’s oldest, so he even came along on our little mountain adventure so they could throw a football around in between frames. The girls are so sweet and adorable, they make taking photographs easy. And I love that mom and dad didn’t even question my idea of a kid tower. That has to be my favorite family shot! I will have to come up with some even more daring and crazy for next time.
