One of my favorite things is to explore new places with my family…and take photos! My youngest son joined me on a little day trip to Colorado Springs to help me find an amazing spot for a family session. I didn’t even ask him to dress cute and comb his hair, but he did so I couldn’t resist taking and sharing a few images. He’s truly the reason I am a professional photographer. I had a corporate job until after his maternity leave was up. He was diagnosed after birth with a serious metabolic disorder know as MCAD. It was truly one of the scariest things I have ever done… leaving a comfortable paycheck and great bonuses to be a stay at home mom …and eventually take the leap and start my own business! But I wouldn’t trade it for the world…even though now my bonuses come in the form of unlimited photos and extra time with my own kids!
