Graduation from CU Boulder is a moment worth celebrating—loudly, joyfully, and beautifully. I absolutely love working with CU grads to capture this incredible milestone. Whether you’re tossing your cap in front of Norlin Library or laughing with friends at the Flatirons, your photos should feel like you—real, relaxed, and full of life.
If you’re searching for CU grad photos in Boulder that are natural, timeless, and a little bit magical, you’re in the right place.
When Should You Book Your CU Grad Photos?

Most grads book spring sessions between late March and early May, and spots go fast! I open my calendar early to make sure everyone has time to plan. Boulder weather in spring is usually lovely (with a few surprise snowstorms, of course—this is Colorado!).
Graduating in winter? No problem. December grad photos can be absolutely beautiful with festive lights, crisp air, and snow-dusted scenery.
What to Wear for CU Grad Photos

Here’s what I recommend:
– Cap and gown (we’ll grab a few classic shots first)
– A second outfit that makes you feel amazing—think something polished but true to your style
– Optional: stoles, cords, or other grad details
Need help deciding? I send all my grads a styling and prep guide so you feel confident and comfortable from the moment we meet.
