To the Moon and Back
I love my monthly personal project, it really keeps me on track with taking photos of my own family. April was a great month for us! We moved into our new place in Denver and have enjoyed the early spring blossoms right outside our front door. The boys are excited to finally have their own bedrooms, and I am loving the bigger kitchen and all the natural light.
The day after I took these photos, we got a surprise spring snow/rain storm. It shouldn’t be a surprise after living in Colorado for the last few years, but I never learn. The great thing, is that all this moisture should make our late spring and early summer beautiful and green here in Denver, CO. It’s the perfect time to think about family portraits. In case you think your kids are too crazy to be photographed by a Denver family photographer, this is how my kids act for 99% of the images I take. Luckily, I love these photos just as much as the smiley posed ones, and it makes the time we spend taking photos a lot more fun!
