Summer Nights

I first met this beautiful photographer when I lived in Fort Collins and drove to downtown Denver for a photography lecture. I didn’t know anyone in the room and Amy of Crib Tales Photography in Castle Rock made me feel instantly welcome. When I moved to Denver we met up for coffee, and I absolutely loved chatting with her about business and being a mom. With our busy schedules and drive distance, we haven’t met up since last year. When she asked if I was available to take her family photos, I was thrilled! Not only is it such a compliment when another photographer chooses you to capture their family, but I love the fact we are both moms of two boys that are the same grades! And let’s not forget with both have awesome, supportive husbands.

To make the evening even better, Amy took updated family photos for my family too. Getting myself and my boys ready for photos, plus running around like crazy taking another family’s photos is not an easy feat, but we the evening ended up being so fun and relaxed. And look at our beautiful “halfway” Denver location!
