As a Denver first birthday photographer, I had the pleasure of documenting another milestone for this sweet guy. It’s so amazing to photograph the same family over the course of a year…from maternity to first birthday. I love seeing anxious expecting couple’s become awestruck parents. I love seeing squishy newborns turn into tentative toddlers. And I love seeing the newness of parenting become the familiar everyday.
This family wanted a fun, urban session, but didn’t think the vibrant murals I typically photograph would work for their home. So we decided to meet at the iconic Little Man Ice Cream in the Highlands. Wandering around we found plenty of cool, historic buildings and interesting alleyways. We even had a birthday treat! I love our final images with the Highland bridge in the background. So many adventures await this little guy.
