There’s something extra special about celebrating that first birthday — and this little guy’s one-year milestone photo session was the perfect mix of giggles, cuddles, and cake (well… sort of!).
We met outdoors on a beautiful evening, surrounded by golden light and spring greenery. Dressed in the cutest blue overalls, this baby boy brought all the charm — curious, bright-eyed, and happiest when snuggled in his parents’ arms.
As tradition goes, we brought out the cake for a smash moment… but he had other plans! Instead of diving in, he delicately reached out, just barely touching the frosting with a look of complete uncertainty. It was clear: smashing cake wasn’t on his to-do list — but snuggling with mom and dad absolutely was.
Sometimes these milestone sessions don’t go exactly as planned, and that’s the magic of it. Each baby has their own personality, and capturing who they are at this moment in time is what it’s all about. Whether it’s a messy smash or a gentle poke, these little stories are worth remembering.
