What If It Rains During Your Family Photos?

What If It Rains During Your Family Photos

You check the forecast and see a giant storm headed your way.

And if you have three boys, your first thought might be: There is no way this is going to work.

I get it. I’m a mom of two boys, and I know that getting everyone out the door on time can feel like an accomplishment all by itself.

But you don’t need perfect weather—or perfectly cooperative kids—for a great session.

This family showed up just as a torrential storm rolled through. We waited it out, let the kids do their thing, and when the rain finally passed, we were left with this beautiful, dramatic evening.

Sometimes the weather changes the plan. That’s okay.

You don’t have to figure out how to make your kids behave, where to stand, or what to do when the forecast takes a turn.

That’s what I’m there for.

So if the forecast looks a little questionable, don’t panic. We’ll keep an eye on it, make a plan, and go from there.

And sometimes, the sessions that don’t go exactly as planned end up being the ones you love most.
