When we first moved to Denver two and a half years ago, I made a long list of “Things to do in Denver”. Every Wednesday (early release day) we went on an adventure and chipped away at our list. Before we knew it, our schedules filled up with sports practices, after school activities, and photo sessions. But, we still try to squeeze in as many adventures as possible. Last Wednesday after elementary conferences, my youngest son and I had a date to the Downtown Aquarium. I am still amazed that this was our first time here. We had the best time on our aquarium adventure. Some of the highlights included seeing sharks swim before our eyes, a flash flood in the desert, and watching a cute Ice Age 4-D movie. My son was so engaged and couldn’t believe he got to feed and pet the sting rays and have lunch while huge fish swam by! Note the cool shark tooth necklace he scored in the gift shop. I am so glad I decided to document our special day!
