This is such an unusual time! I highly recommend you document this period for your family history. Most of my everyday, personal photos are taken from my phone! I don’t worry about perfection in these…I just love capturing the moments of our lives. I upload my favorite memories throughout the year to my personal Instagram account. Once a year, I spend a little time to print a hardcover album as a family scrapbook!
If you want to try this, check out Chatbooks, Inkifi, or Social Print Studio.
Here are what I consider the Top 10 Quarantine Photos you should be taking during this time! Leave a comment with your top photo suggestion!
1. | Homeschool/Work at Home Space We rearranged all of our desks and devices to ensure all four of us can work productively from home. |
2. | Quarantine Holidays We have already celebrated an untraditional birthday and Easter! |
3. | Zoom, Good Duo or FaceTime Calls Screen shot a group call with family and friends! We have done a lot of these to stay connected to everyone we love! |
4. | Pantry Meals With fewer trips to the grocery store, we have run low on food at times (having 12 and 16 year old boys at home all day doesn’t help!). I have definitely made some creative dishes to stretch out our store trips! |
5. | Take Out So many local restaurants are being creative with their delivery and to go options! We have found a few new favorites (La Belle French Bakery and Bahama Bucks)! |
6. | Recess My kids have invented a new sport (lacrossketball) and we have been taking extra long walks and bike rides. |
7. | Pet Life Has anyone found their pets acting a little different with so many people around…all the time! |
8. | Hobbies One of my sons has started sketching and the other has been teaching himself guitar. I honestly haven’t taken up any new hobbies (unless you count cooking, cleaning and worrying). |
9. | Netflix Binge Watching I often associate television shows with different time periods in my life! Tiger King and Quarantine? |
10. | Meltdowns and Messes Botched haircut? Art project disaster? Keep it real! |
