Treat mom to something more than dinner out and order a special meal or an entire week of meals from a home delivery service! Local Denver friends check out Mimosas on Sunday for everything from gourmet appetizers and desserts to a full week of dinners. In addition to delicious meals, you are giving mom a week off from cooking, cleaning up the kitchen and grocery shopping!!
2. Blue Light Blocking Glasses
Does the mom in your life spend time working on a computer everyday? These awesome and inexpensive glasses block 100% of blue light and help prevent headaches and eye strain from staring at screens. A thoughtful little gift to keep mom cute and comfortable while she is at work!
3. Waterproof Shoes
I love these cute, waterproof wedge sneakers. These shoes go with so many outfits and are truly comfortable! The fact that they are waterproof make them perfect for a rainy day!
4. Mother’s Day Photo Session
What a treat for mom to put down her own camera or cell phone and be captured in a beautiful way with her babies! This year I am offering in-studio (weather proof!) mini-sessions in April.

5. Instagram Worthy Skincare
I keep seeing this awesome line of skincare pop-up in my Instagram feed and stories! This little kit (plus a few hours of peace and quiet for self-care each week) would be welcome by any mom!
6. Play or Musical
All mom’s appreciate sharing experiences with their family! This year, I snagged seats to see the musical Wicked on Mother’s Day! I guess you can say I bought my own Mother’s Day gift, but I am so excited about our afternoon at the theater, that I thought it was worth sharing! Check out local plays, musicals or even a concert for an experience worth gifting your mom!
7. Spring Shopping
Even though spring officially begins in March, when you live in Colorado you can expect chilly days (and even snow) all the way through May. By Mother’s Day we are all ready to pack away our winter clothing and splurge on warm weather outfits! 8. Movie Night
If a play or musical is out of your budget or timeline, consider hosting a fun movie night for mom! One of our family’s recent favorite movies was Instant Family. Grandparents, parents, teen and kid all loved this movie…it’s funny and touching all at the same time! Serve a fun fruit plate, dessert and beverage and this is a terrific gift of time!
9. AirPods
I recently bought my son a pair of AirPods for his birthday. I have to admit, I was skeptical because I thought they were overpriced headphones, but after testing his out, I thought they were magical and I want my own pair! He listens to music while he’s studying or playing basketball, but I would use mine to talk long walks with the dog while catching up on my favorite podcast!
10. Subscription Box
There are so many fun options for subscription boxes!! My personal favorite is the FabFitFun box! I received this as a gift one year, and it contained tons of great skincare, cosmetic and other items! I really enjoyed all the items in the box and the fun surprise of opening it up!
