To the Moon and Back

The mountains are calling and I must go.

We had a beautiful day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park! I only wish we had been there during “golden hour” as these were all taken in the middle of the day, when the sun was nice and warm, but quite harsh for photos! This is why I typically schedule my sessions later in the day, about an hour or so before sunset.
We hiked up to 10,110 feet to see the frozen Emerald Lake! This 3.6 mile was labeled easy to intermediate, but with all of the snow we slipped up and down, it seemed to be twice and long and difficult that it should be! But we enjoyed our final view. The rest of the images are from our last stop on the way back to Estes Park.
Make sure to head over to Megan Evans Photography and see what her darling girls are up to this week!
