Our family has moved several times in as many years for my husband’s job. Each move has brought fresh opportunities, as well as new challenges. As a family photographer, I treausre being able to capture milestones in my client’s lives throughout the years. When we move, I miss seeing those familiar, friendly faces. Not to mention, the incredible amount of work it takes to market myself and rebuild my “word of mouth” business. I am beyond grateful for families such as this one, that drive a distance to see me despite the fact we have moved further away!
We decided on a location next to a lake here in Arvada, Colorado. This was my first time doing a family session here, and I absolutely love the resulting images. Even better, this family loves fishing and all things related to the water, so it was the perfect spot. The kids were just a little disappointed that they didn’t get to jump right in!
