With many people taking extra precautions due to Covid-19, I am photographing more and more infants outdoors! As a Boulder baby photographer, I love seeing these precious family moments unfold in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Flatirons. Photographing a baby who is just a few months old presents a unique challenge. Just remember a well-fed and freshly changed baby is a happy baby, so it’s often worth it to arrive early to the location. Having a diaper bag with essentials (especially a burp cloth and extra change of clothes just in case) is key.
I first met this family when their daughter was tiny. She is now the sweetest toddler that is smitten by her brother (and her dad, some of the images of her smiling up at her dad are my favorite!). They found me through a few of their friends that also trust me with their family’s annual photos. Such an honor to be able to see their beautiful families and friendship grow up before my lens.
