There are many beautiful settings for Boulder Child Photography this summer.  The entire Front Range is filled with beautiful ponds, tall green grasses and pretty wild flowers.  As much as I love the landscape in Colorado, my favorite images from a session could take place in a parking lot, because family connections are 100% my focus when shooting a session.  I love capturing parents adoring their children, siblings in a (rare, but genuine) hug, or the way children look when they get their mom or dad all to themselves for a few snaps.

I typically come with some simple poses in mind, to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease, but then capture the family’s interaction unfold from there.  This family was natural behind the camera, and I enjoyed getting to know them a little better in their family questionnaire and through the time we spent together.  After recently moving from Chicago, I am glad we could take advantage of the beautiful scenery to perfectly frame their family’s love!
