While the views in Colorado never get old, sometimes we take them for granted. We get so used to looking out and seeing the Rocky Mountains. There are certain things that we become accustomed to while growing up. We often don’t realize the impact until it’s too late. Senior year is a fleeting moment, but it’s a special one.
Senior photos are a way of capturing a moment in time. Freezing the moment between childhood and adulthood. Seniors are almost caught between two worlds. Pushing the boundaries of being an adult, while enjoying the comforts of being a kid, just a little longer. It is unlike any other time.
Looking at senior portraits through the years is like going on a time machine. The fashion, the hair, the trends. Captured forever.
Sometimes seniors choose to move away to college, or to start a career, or a new journey. Maybe they wake up in their new home and they realize they miss the peaks that didn’t used to matter all that much. That’s a beautiful thing about photography; it captures a memory.
If you missed taking senior photos for the yearbook deadline, you can still book a spring senior session for graduation and announcements!
