This 1st birthday Denver cake smash session was definitely a highlight of my fall season!! This sweetheart was such a lady trying her cake. This session took place at a popular spot in Boulder, and everyone walking by stopped to admire the cuteness. It’s not everyday you see a one year old eating cake…in a field! The weather was a bit gloomy, and oddly enough once the sun disappeared behind the mountain it came out from behind its cover. This resulted in a strange colored sky. I have to admit I was a little nervous about how these images would turn out, but I couldn’t be happier with the rosy golden tone from the unusual sunset.
