Denver Photographer | Botanic Gardens

As a Denver photographer, I definitely get in the routine of using my favorite locations. I was so excited when this family mentioned they were flying from Kansas for their daughter’s second birthday at the Denver Botanic Gardens! I have never taken portraits here. Last year, our family had an annual membership, and I absolutely love this little oasis in the middle of the city. My boys and I even visited when a corpse flower was blooming last summer. A corpose flower (yes, they smell as bad as they sound) had just bloomed prior to this session, so the gardens were busy, but we found so many great little spots for Claire’s second birthday photos! By the end of the shoot, we had become good buddies and she grabbed my hand to show me flowers in all of her favorite colors. Thanks Claire for visiting me from Kansas!
