Fall Colors

A few images from a vibrant October day in Rocky Mountain National Park. We took my sister and nephew (from Arizona) on a hike to the beautiful alpine Emerald Lake. I left my camera in the car for the nearly 4 mile hike that ends at an elevation of 10,110 feet, but the views were spectacular. After our hike, we drove around the park looking for herds of elk. We weren’t disappointed. We spotted several herds, and enjoyed watching the bull elk show off their antlers. We walked a short way into the field to get a closer view. I am not a nature photographer, but loved taking a few shots at these amazing animals. I also couldn’t resist a few post-hike shots of the cousins with the beautiful fall leaves. I bribed them with a stop in Estes Park for homemade salt water taffy!
Fall is such a beautiful time fo year to be a Denver Child Photographer. If you haven’t scheduled your fall family portraits, I still have openings in November. Your images will be ready just in time for your holiday cards! Contact me info@julielivermorephotography.com.
